Ronda Rousey Asks For A Re-Match In An I-Quit-March

We all remember how Ronda Rousey lost to Charlotte Flair at the Wrestlemania 38 match right? She took her eyes off the prize for a tiny little bit by getting up to wake the referee up, so he could see that Charlotte was tapping out to her, and that she Ronda had won the match. Unfortunately, that action left her open for Charlotte to deliver her Big Boot, and retain her championship.

On Friday night SmackDown, on April 8, 2022, in an interview with Kayla, Ronda Said "I'm all sore. I got screwed. I tapped out Charlotte and the ref didn't see it," Rousey said "I was trying to wake up the ref, Charlotte tried to ambush me from behind. What a world. Charlotte cheated. I should have been ready for a cheater. There should be no amount of cheating that can beat me, that's how good I have to be."

While still in the interview, Charlotte interrupted her just to laugh and call herself the better woman. In that moment, Ronda issued a rematch challenge to Charlotte, but as expected, Charlotte didn't accept the challenge, she claimed Ronda should go to the back of the line.

Ronda who wasn't fazed at all by Charlotte's insults told Charlotte that "This Rematch is going to happen." To prove her words, Ronda went to WWE official Adam Pearce to demand an I-Quit-Match with Charlotte Flair. Do you know the saying; ask and you shall receive? Yeaaa, Ronda got her request.

So it is official, at WWE Wrestlemania Backlash, scheduled to hold on Sunday, May 8, it'll be Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship in an I-Quit-Match.

Speaking of the upcoming I-Quit-Match, Charlotte wasn't one bit happy with the deal so she barged into Adam Pearce's office this Friday, April 15, to ask who accepted the match between she and Ronda. Things got interesting real quick as former competitor Drew Gulak walked in to ask Adam how he performed in his first-ever interview audition in the WWE.

Charlotte wasn't happy about the interruption but asked Drew to follow her to the ring and interview her, that way she could access if he was good for the job. Back in the ring, Drew performed a series of interviews with Charlotte, starting with why Charlotte declined to have a rematch with Ronda, then stating that Charlotte tapped out to Ronda at Wrestlemania. Charlotte denied ever tapping out.

The last question was the one that put Drew into trouble. He asked Charlotte that had the referee seen the match, he's pretty sure that Ronda Rousey would be standing there as a winner.

Hahahaha, we were all expecting Charlotte to crack that well-composed, confident, and unfazed attitude she brought with her to the ring, and just as expected, she cracked!.

While trying to maintain that she never tapped out to Ronda, the WWE Universe wasn't having any of her lies, I mean, we all saw her tap out. She then asked Drew if he quit being a competitor, so he could stand there, hold a mic and ask her stupid questions. Typical Charlotte! Turning things that ain't going her way, around.

Well, shocker, Charlotte asked Drew to leave the ring, Drew complied but, the minute Drew's back was turned, Charlotte attacked Drew's back knee and hit him with her figure 8, while demanding Drew to scream the words I-Quit. It took the referees and some WWE Officials to pull Charlotte away from Drew.
