WWE Crown Jewel 2021

This is actually the last Pay-Per-View after which the superstars officially resumes work at their various drafted brands of either Raw or Smack Down. The match was on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Saudi Arabia.

Edge Vs Seth Rollins 

Intro-

The rivalry between Seth and Edge began seven years ago in the year 2014 when Seth tried to break Edge's surgically repaired neck for no reason but thought twice about it. Seth attacked Edge again on 18 July, 2021 at his Money-In-The-Bank match with Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship Title, thereby causing Edge to lose to Reigns. Because of that loss, Edge challenged Seth to a match at Summerslam, that was on August, 2021, Edge won that match. The loss didn't go well with seth so he threw a challenge to Edge for a rematch at Madison Square Garden, the match was on 10th September, 2021, Seth won that match by stomping on Edge's surgically repaired neck. After the victory, Edge was stretchered out of the building to receive medications. Seth hearing that Edge survived the injury and is home resting, threw another challenge to Edge one final time to end what he started with Edge. Seth went as far as invading Edges privacy by going to his family house and that triggered Edge to accept the challenge for a Hell-in-a-Cell match at Crown Jewel.

The Match-

The Hell-in-a-Cell match, you can either win via Pinfall or submission, there are no disqualifications, anything goes but once the cell is locked, you can't escape. Edge and Seth began to wrestle, Edge was the first to draw out two steel chairs to use on Seth. He broke a piece of the chair and tries to gag Seth with it, Seth blocks him, took the rod and tries to shove it on Edge's eye but Edge fought out of it. Seth uses one of the steel chairs and beats Edge with it. Seth introduced a table to the match but just like Edge was beaten with his own chair, Edge pushed him over the top rope and he landed face first on the table and broke it in halve. Edge brought in the steel step into the ring, delivered an Edgeomatic to Seth on the bottom step. With Seth still laying on the stairs, Edge climbed the ropes with a steel chair and landed on top of Seth with the chair on the stairs.

Edge brought in a table and a ladder,  to the ring but was slammed through the table by Seth. Seth delivered three super kicks to Edge then wrapped a chain round his boot and delivered the forth one right at the neck of Edge leaving Edge motionless. Seth placed Edge's head on a steel chair and came to stomp of his neck with his chain wrapped boot but Edge shifted and immediately went low on Seth with the chair thereby cutting Seth short on his mission. Edge delivered two kicks to Seth, used the chain on Seth's boot to lock him in a submission hold with a rod in Seth's mouth. Just at the point when Seth was about to submit, Edge let go of Seth, placed a steel chair underneath Seth's head and delivered a stomp on Seth Rollins, earning himself a victory.

 

Mustafa Ali Vs Mansoor

Intro-

Mansoor asked Mustafa to be his tag team partner and Mustafa agreed, they went on to win their first match as a team against The Revolution but afterwards it's been from losing matches to losing matches. On the 18th of October, on Monday night Raw, Mansoor and Ali again lost their match against The Hurt Business. Ali became fed up with all the losses and attacked Mansoor after the match. That same night backstage, in an interview, Ali attacked Mansoor yet again. The next week being 18th October, Mansoor challenged Ali to a match at Crown Jewel.

The Match-

In this match, You can either win via Pinfall, count out or submission. Disqualification is included. Now, for the first time ever in the history of WWE, two Muslims go toe to toe in a match. When it comes to Crown Jewel, Mansoor has a history of winning. Mansoor and Mustafa began to wrestle, Mustafa felt he has gained the upper hand on Mansoor and began trash talking Mansoor, calling him a loser amidst kicks, Mansoor regained his composure and fought back. Mansoor Delivered a picture perfect Moonsaw to Ali, Ali kicked out, switched around and locked Mansoor in his submission move. Mansoor almost passed out but he used his last strength to hold onto the ring, breaking the submission hold. Ali climbed the ropes to deliver his 450 finishing move but missed because Mansoor was able to roll out of the way in time. Mansoor delivered a neck breaker to Ali and earned himself a victory.

Mansoor, celebrating his victory when Ali assaulted him from behind. Ali was still beating up Mansoor when someone dressed in Saudi Arabia outfit walked into the ring and revealed himself as Torek Hamdi, a silver medalist Karate player from Saudi Arabia, he won the silver medal in Tokyo. He knocked Ali out with one kick. It was indeed a standing ovation moment.

 

Aj Styles and Omos Vs RK-Bro

Intro-

Randy Orton and Matt Riddle debuted their RK-Bro Tag Team on April, the team separated around June after Randy went on a sabbatical leave that lasted for seven weeks. On his return he didn't want to team with Riddle anymore but Riddle helped him out when he was been assaulted by Omos and Styles and that made Randy reinstate RK-Bro back as a team. They went on to defeat Aj Styles and Omos to win the WWE Tag Team Championship Title for the first time as a team at WWE Summer Slam on August, 2021. Since their lose, Aj Styles and Omos has been doing everything in their power to gain back their lost Tag Team Titles from RK-Bro hence, this match at Crown Jewel.

The Match-

Before the match started, Aj Styles and Omos were the first to get to the ring while Riddle and Randy made their entrance to the ring in grand style as Riddle dropped his Scooter to ride on the back of a Carmel with Randy marching beside him as they made their way to the ring. That entrance alone is "Historic".

In this match, You can either win via Pinfall, count out or submission. Disqualification is included. The match started with Riddle and Styles. At some point in the match, Styles tagged Omos inside the ring and Omos and Riddle tagged in Randy, Omos threw Randy on the buckle, climbed on his chest and held onto the rope before tagging in styles. Randy sent Styles right into Omos making Omos fall of the Aprin, power slammed Styles, Omos climbed back up to interfere but riddle was quick to move over to Omos corner and held his legs to prevent from making any further movement. As styles climbed the ropes to deliver the phenomenal forearm, he was met halfway mid air by Orton with an RKO out of nowhere, tagged in Riddle, Riddle delivered the flying Bro which earned the team of RK-Bro a victory.

 

Goldberg vs Bobby Lashley

Intro-

The start of the Lashley vs. Goldberg rivalry came the night after Money in the Bank on June. Lashley decimated Kofi Kingston at the pay-per-view to retain the WWE title and then beat the returning Keith Lee the following night on Raw. After Lashley won Keith Lee, Goldberg made a surprise appearance and came face to face with Lashley. The WWE Hall of Famer declared, "I'm next," in an apparent reference to challenging the champ. Initially, Lashley refused to accept the Goldberg's challenge but after Goldberg speared MVP, he accepted the challenge.

The match took place at WWE Summerslam, during the match, MVP interfered with the match by hitting Goldberg on the knee with his cane giving Lashley an opening to capitalize on the already injured knee of Goldberg. Lashley defeated Goldberg in that match but after his victory, he went on to attack Goldberg and that infuriated Goldberg's son that he jumped on Lashley's back but Lashley Immediately applied the hurt lock on him, leaving him passed out on the ring. Goldberg hearing what happened to his son told Lashely that once he recovered, He's coming for him. The match was fixed for Crown Jewel.

The Match-

This match is a No Holds Barred Match, in this match, there are no disqualifications, you can pin your opponent anywhere, no count outs, weapons and outside interference are legal, you can either win via pinfall or submission. Once the bell rang, Lashley brought out a chain from his underwear and wrapped it round his fists and used it on Goldberg, he drew out a chair and used it on Goldberg, introduced a table into the match, used the chair in the ring, fixed it on Goldberg's weak leg, climbed the ropes and jumped down on Goldberg's leg. As Lashley was measuring Goldberg to spear him into the table he set, Goldberg shifted at the nick of time and Lashley crashed into the table he set, that crash gave Goldberg the opening he needed in the match as he speared Lashley and immediately delivered a Jack Hammer to Lashley. Goldberg didn't end the match there, he sent Lashley over the ropes and delivered another spear to Lashley, breaking the barricade. Goldberg pulled a stair a tried to hit Lashley with it but missed, Lashley tried to escape but Goldberg followed him not giving him a chance. As Lashley was fleeing the arena, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander (The Hurt Business) appeared beside Bobby with three candlesticks, they gave Lashley one of the candlesticks and the trio matched towards Goldberg. Goldberg beat up Cedric and Shelton, used the candlestick on Bobby and snapped it in half then speared Bobby off the entrance and on Bobby landed on top of a table and that earned Goldberg a win over Lashley.

Xavier Woods vs Finn Balor

Intro-

The King of the Ring Tournament started on Friday Night SmackDown, 8th October, 2021,this year's King of the Ring marks it as the 22nd edition in WWE. The first round of the king of the ring tournament comprises of Rey Mysterio vs Sami Zayn, Saki Zayn won. Finn Balor vs Cesoro, Finn Balor won. On Monday Night Raw, 11th October, Xavier Woods vs Ricochet, Woods won. Kofi Kingston vs Jinder Mahal, Jinder Mahal won. The second round of the King of the Ring Tournament was on Friday Night SmackDown 15th October, comprises of Sami Zayn vs Finn Balor, Finn Balor won. On Monday Night Raw, 18th October, Xavier Woods vs Jinder Mahal, Xavier Woods won. The third and final round of the King of the Ring Tournament takes place Thursday, October 21 at WWE Crown Jewel Xavier Woods and Finn Balor.

The Match-

This is for the King Of The Ring Title. In this match, You can either win via Pinfall, count out or submission. Disqualification is included. Both Finn and Woods brought their A-Game to this match. As the match progressed, Balor delivered woods the sling blade, woods returned the favor with a kick of his own. Woods went up the ropes but took a little time getting up which gave Finn the clearance to kick woods off the ropes and make his way up that same rope. Unfortunately for Balor, Woods recovered, rushed to Balor, delivered a right hand to Finn's chin, climbed the ropes and delivered a Superplex to Balor but it wasn't enough to put Balor away. Finn went up the top rope to deliver the Coup de Grace, and missed it because Woods rolled out of harms way. Wood hit Balor with his knee, went up the ropes, walked on it and landed on Balor with his elbow thereby securing himself a win, and The New King of The Ring.

Zelina Vega vs DouDrop

Intro-

Just as The King of the Ring Tournament, The Queen's Crown Tournament started on Friday Night SmackDown, 8th October, 2021, this is the First ever edition of Queen of The Ring in WWE. The first round of the Queen's Crown Tournament comprises of Tonight Storm vs Zelina Vega, Zelina Vega won. Liv Morgan vs Carmella, Carmella won. On Monday Night Raw, 11th October, Shayna Baszler vs Dana Brooke, Baszler won. DuoDrop vs Natalya, DuoDrop won. The second round of the Queen's Crown Tournament was on Friday Night SmackDown 15th October, comprises of Zelina Vega vs Carmella, Zelina won. On Monday Night Raw, 18th October, Shayna Baszler vs DuoDrop, DuoDrop won. The third and final round of the Queen's Crown Tournament takes place Thursday, October 21 at WWE Crown Jewel between Duodrop and Zelina Vega.

The Match-

This is for Queen of the Ring Title. In this match, You can either win via Pinfall, count out or submission. Disqualification is included. As they began to wrestle, Zelina went up the ropes to fly but was caught by Duodrop. Doudrop tried climbing on the second rope, Zelina caught her foot and made Duodrop hit her head on the buckle. Duodrop went for the cannonball and missed, Zelina hit her with double knees across the face. Duodrop went for a big splash, Vega moved out of the way, Vega delivered a Code Red on Duodrop and earned herself a victory and the first ever WWE Queen of the Ring.

Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair

Intro-

Belair was supposed to defend the SmackDown Women's title against Banks on WWE Summerslam. It was announced just before the match that Banks would be unable to compete, Banks was replaced with Carmella and the match was about to begin when suddenly Becky Lynch appeared and made her first appearance on WWE in over a year after giving birth to her daughter, and tricked Bianca with a handshake, she won the SmackDown Women's Championship in 26 seconds. Bianca challenged Becky for a rematch so she could win back her title. The match was fixed at WWE Extreme Rules on Sunday, 26 September, however, there was no definitive finish, as Banks returned and attacked both Superstars. On Friday night SmackDown, WWE made the Match Official, and a Triple Threat match at WWE Crown Jewel.

The Match-

This is a Triple Treat Match for the SmackDown Women's Championship. In this match, all three women will be legal in the ring, there will be no count out or disqualification, the first woman to score a pinfall or submission will be declared the winner. As the trio wrestled, Bianca lifted Sasha from top of the ropes, held her with one hand in the middle of the ring for some seconds before dropping her with a thud. Sasha delivered the Mediora to Becky, Becky kicked out. Becky tried to climb the ropes to jump but was caught by both Sasha and Bianca and was giving double buckle bomb from both Sasha and Bianca. Bianca tried to deliver a mixed Moonsaw but Sasha and Becky rolled out of the way and Bianca crashed big time.

Sasha and Becky rushed Bianca to lock in their submission hold on her, with Sasha locking in the Bank Statement and Becky locking in her Disarmer, Sasha realizing that if Bianca taps, it'll be difficult to decide who made her tap so Sasha kicked Becky out of the hold, released Bianca and locked Becky in the Bank Statement, Bianca broke the hold. Becky locked her Disarmer on Bianca, Sasha came to interfere, Becky included Sasha in her lock making it a double Disarmer, Bianca powered both Sasha and Becky off their feet, looking to deliver a Kiss of Death but Becky rolled off, Sasha gave Bianca a Backstabber, went to beat up Becky but Bianca came and delivered the K.O.D to Becky, tried to cover but Sasha sent her out of the ring and rushed to cover on Becky, Becky rolled over, held the rope for assistance one earned her self a victory.

Drew McIntyre vs Big E

Intro-

Big E cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Monday, 13 September, 2021 and defeated Lashley to Win the WWE Championship on Monday, Big E went on to defend the title against Lashley and conquered Lashley in a hard-fought Steel Cage Match, McIntyre emerged and pointed his sword Angela to indicate he is coming for the gold. This paved the way for the two Superstars to square off at WWE Crown Jewel.

The Match-

This is for the WWE Championship Title. In this match, You can either win via Pinfall, count out or submission. Disqualification is included. McIntyre delivered a belly to belly on Big E, and a Spine Burster but E kicked out at two. Drew went to deliver a Claymore to E but E caught and power bombed him, locked him in a submission hold but Drew was able to get out of it. E delivered the Big Ending to Drew, Drew kicked out at two, to the shock of E. E carried Drew to the rope to deliver a second big ending but Drew replied with a Bulldog, covered and E kicked out. Drew went to deliver a Claymore, missed, delivered the third time but E still kicked out, drew went to deliver the Claymore again but was caught by E who delivered the Big Ending and retained his Title.

Roman Reigns vs Brock Lesnar

Intro-

After Roman Reigns victory at WWE Summerslam, Brock Lesnar surprisingly appeared to challenge Roman for the Universal Championship that same night but Roman refused. The next Pay-Per-View on SmackDown, Brock accused Paul Heyman of knowing he'll be at Summerslam yet didn't inform Reigns, he asked Paul to accept his challenge for the title and was about to deliver an F5 to Paul but Roman rescued Paul. Roman later promised Brock a match after Finn. The match was scheduled to hold at Crown Jewel.

The Match-

This is for the WWE Universal Championship Title. In this match, You can either win via Pinfall, count out or submission. Disqualification is included. Not long into the match, Brock delivered the first Suplex City to Roman to welcome him into the match. Reigns speared Brock to pick up the victory but Brock kicked out. Roman delivered the superman punch twice to Brock and was on his way to seal it with another spear when Brock side stepped and Roman crashed into the Ring Post. Brock delivered the 2nd Suplex City to Roman, accompanied with the 3rd and 4th making it four Suplex Cities, then sealed it with an F5 but Roman still kicked out. Brock picked Roman again, looking for the 2nd F5 but hit him on the referee. With no Ref to count it, Roman got up and speared Brock again.

Now, this is where it got more interesting, Paul Heyman brought out the universal championship and threw into the middle of the ring saying "You know what to do with it". This was quite confusing as well knew neither whom Paul threw the title for. Both Roman and Brock struggled to gain the title but Brock took it before Roman could. On turning, Brock was greeted with a super kick from the Usos, as he fell down, the title fell off his hands and Roman picked it up, hit Brock across the face with the title, shoved it outside the ring, covered and a new ref

 emerged, counted and Roman Retained his Universal Championship.
